People Behind The Scenes
Interviewed and Written by Elias Reyes
JESUS CALLS HIS FIRST DISCIPLES
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew.
They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
“Come, follow me,”
Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
At once they left their nets and followed him.
Mathew 4:12-20 NIV

Carolyn Brugger
Carolyn Brugger is actively involved in the Practical Christianity class, which meets after the first service in the Ministry Center. She plays a key role in leading prayer requests during these gatherings, often reflecting on the close-knit nature of the group:
“We’re quite a family over there.”
Additionally, Carolyn felt a divine call to start a singles ministry.
The singles ministry convenes on the third Thursday of every month at Golden Corral, providing a space for fellowship and connection. For more information about the singles ministry, reach out to Carolyn Brugger.
Carolyn has witnessed God’s work through Practical Christianity in many impactful ways. The ministry has provided essential financial aid and distributed refrigerators to people they even supplied heaters and tires to Native American reservations. These acts of service reflect the deep commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. “This year, we’re going to help people in Mexico!” Carolyn excitedly announces.
She hopes to see more younger individuals join the Practical Christianity class to contribute to the many projects the ministry undertakes.
